Hi all,

I haven't been on my usual rhythm lately. I'm guessing most of you didn't notice, which is neat. If you did, I hope it didn't trigger anything more than a mild "hmm did he send that this week?"

With my new project (briefly outlined here), I now have a professional outlet for a lot of the energy that I put into this. As a result, I'll be moving to bi-weekly emails and changing up the structure a bit so it's less time-intensive and more focused on the aspects of this newsletter that I find therapeutic, educational, and creative.

That's the update.

Before moving on to a slightly abbreviated assortment of links, I'd like to touch on a couple of things.

First, I'd like to draw attention to the concept of technostress mentioned in this article.

I believe it's helpful to assign a vocabulary to things that we commonly deal with and found the article's definition & breakdown to be a cool articulation of things that many of us feel on one level or another. Even cooler, this includes sub-categories that are applicable to all ages, so anyone from 8 to 80 can bond over the same general concept.

Also, do any of you know anybody who has or had long covid? I recently learned more about it, think it's pretty interesting, and am curious to hear how people have (tried to) treat any/all of their symptoms as I find myself thinking about potential modalities/approaches that are less likely to be recommended by a traditional doc.

Neuroinflammatory afflictions are scary and interesting as the pharma, academic, and medical worlds don't seem to have cracked the case on a holistic, neurological level. Long covid, or at least many of the symptoms, falls under this umbrella.

With that out of the way, here's some cool stuff from the last couple of weeks:

“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.”
