Hi all,

This week I'm writing with a bit of personal news.

I've been contracted to design, launch, and assist in the implementation of a layer of tech and design intended to make residents of apartment buildings healthier and happier, starting with four buildings.

If you have implemented anything in your house that has made you healthier and/or happier, from paint colors and environmental scents to smart appliances and sleep-focused bedding, please let me know. I am eager to hear about anything you've done in your home (or office, or indoor space) that has improved your life.

As you can guess, I'm excited to be doing some work in this space with tangible results and am eager to do my best and make peoples' lives better. If you know anyone or anything that you can pass along to help me with the mission of creating indoor environments to support health and happiness, please don't hesitate to share.

Enough about me.

A short point: consider the blurb I wrote a few weeks ago about services augmenting ideas of things like meditation while looking over the partnership between Calm and Xbox. It'll be interesting to see how concepts of meditation evolve in the popular lexicon as moves like this continue to occur. Traditionally, I'm pretty sure media-supported meditation is an oxymoron.

With that out of the way, here's what happened last week:
